What we collect
- Uploaded files you submit for conversion.
- Basic technical logs (e.g., IP, user agent, timestamps) to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use your data
We use your uploaded file solely to perform the conversion you requested and to provide a download link. We don’t sell your data.
Storage & deletion
Files are stored temporarily and auto-deleted after a short period. The current retention window is shown in the app via /api/config (e.g., auto_delete_hours).
Security
- Transport security with HTTPS.
- Limited, role-based access to servers.
- Automatic cleanup of temporary files per policy.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies (or similar technologies) for basic functionality and abuse prevention. No cross-site tracking for ads.
Third parties
We may use trusted infrastructure or processing providers (e.g., hosting, storage) strictly to run the service.
Children’s data
Convert2File is for general audiences and not directed to children under 13.
